How much web hosting space your site needs will vary depending on the content of your website. I offer 3 levels of appropriate hosting, based on the services I provide:
For basic websites, I offer a basic plan for $100 per year (inc GST).
That price includes 10MB of hosting space (ample for a basic website), 2 email addresses, and more. This solution is ideal for simple websites that aren't heavy on image galleries, etc. Examples of sites on the basic hosting plan are Shinja Kai Karate and Mick Sutherland Promotions.
For websites with a little more content, perhaps some Flash content, an ongoing blog or an image gallery, you might need an intermediate plan for $200 per year (inc GST).
That price includes 25MB of hosting space, 5 email addresses, a database, and the provision for a mailing list - ideal if you have club members or subscribers to a newsletter - and more.
If your site will be on a content management system, you're going to need more space. The CMS itself takes up more space at a basic level, and you're likely going to have a site that has more content, or will do in the future. For this, you'll need the advanced hosting plan at $250 per year (inc GST).
This is easily the best value plan, as for an extra $50 on the intermediate plan, you'll get 80MB of hosting space, 5 email addresses, 2 databases, a mailing list, provisions for subdomains and add-on domains and much more. This is also an ideal solution for eCommerce sites. Sites on the advanced hosting plan include Pagnian Imports and CAD Vogue Homes.
I'm aware that your business is unique, which means sometimes your requirements go beyond the standard formation. Perhaps you need more hosting space for high-res videos, or maybe you're going to need more email addresses for you staff.
